Pharmasave Children's Parade
& Mayor's Picnic in the Park

Wednesday, July 13th, 1:00 – 3:00 pm
Children are invited to participate in the
opening ceremonies for Seafest 2016.
The Children's Parade is a walking
parade starting at the Visitor Information
Centre on Main Street running along
Main Street to Frost Park, where the
official opening of Seafest 2016 will take
place.

Those participating are encouraged to
incorporate the 2016 Seafest Theme!
Participants are also asked to
pre-register by downloading the
registration form below
or by visiting the Seafest Office.

Coastal Financial Credit Union Scavenger Hunt

Wednesday, July 13th, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Teams of 2-4 participants compete to find and/or take pictures of the most items on the scavenger hunt list! This fun activity is great for families and friends
alike. Teams will need a vehicle, digital camera, and a sense of humor. Come on out and see what you might capture! Please bring all filled out forms to the
Seafest Office.

Rudder's Parade of Lights

Saturday, July 16th at Dusk
If you own a boat or know someone
who does, you won't want to miss this
event!
Starting at dusk, let your boat shine! 
Choose your theme, decorate your boat
and have fun! Prizes to be won!

Scotia Garden Mackerel Toss

Sunday, July 17th, Noon
Ever seen a fish fly? Round up a team and compete for your charity of choice in the Scotia Garden Mackerel Toss held this year on the Marginal Wharf. Teams of two will dress up in traditional Sou'Wester attire and toss some mackerel!

The team to complete the event with the most mackerel and with the best time will be crowned the winner and receive a donation to their charity.  Prizes will also be awarded for first, second and third places!

Rum Running Races

Wednesday, July 13th, 6:00 pm
This is your chance to participate in one of the most thrilling events Seafest puts on! Taking place at Parker Eakins Wharf with teams of 6 to a dory. You will be provided with a fishing dory, oars, and life jackets. Prizes to be won!
